About SARAH-Inc
Over 50 years ago, three families joined forces to create resources for their children with intellectual and other disabilities where there were none and to be the voice of those who could not speak for themselves.
Their innovative vision is the foundation on which SARAH continues to build every day.
Today, SARAH is a family of agencies with programs to serve people of all ages and differing abilities. SARAH, Inc. services now reach from the greater New Haven region to Middlesex, New London and Windham counties. SARAH, Inc. provides early intervention, life skills, work training and employment supports to children and adults.
Individuals needing supports and services are referred to us by a variety of state agencies, local school systems and the general public.
SARAH, Inc. is a member of the Arc of CT and the Arc of the United States. Membership in the Arc provides a constant exchange of information and new ideas which help ensure that state-of-the-art services are available to all children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
